A Hearty Thank you
This harvest, UFA invited you to help support food banks across the province through our Heart of the Harvest campaign by donating at the till at your local UFA. And, you truly showed a lot of heart.
Thanks to your generosity, $16,206 was raised to help food banks feed communities. Plus, we’re adding another $5,000 to the total. The funds raised will be donated to food banks across the province to help feed families.
The goal of the Heart of the Harvest was to raise money to support food banks and to bring awareness to the struggles they face in keeping our neighbours fed. The money raised will go a long way to keeping shelves filled, which means filling the needs of people in our communities.
Even though this year’s harvest is finished, the needs of our food banks have not gone away. We ask that you continue to show your support by donating directly to them or, if you have time, by volunteering. Food banks always need volunteers and that is something that money just can’t buy.
